STEVE BARBER MODELS IS MOVING TO FRANCE.
Steve started Steve Barber Models with £100, twenty nine years ago after being made redundant from the printing industry. He started doing painting commissions before teaching himself to sculpt miniatures. Running a company for so long, we have seen a lot of change but nowhere near as much as in recent years. After four years of difficulties, running our business in the UK has become impossible for us to do, so we have decided to move abroad.
The last four years have been extremely difficult both personally and in business. We have lived in the UK all our lives and have a young son, so it was not an easy decision to go, but we had to do something to change things, and feel this is the best option for us. We really couldn't continue as we are.
We do not have a move date yet but will announce a stop date for orders soon. The period the company is closed for will be as short as we can, but moving the business will take time to pack and unpack everything. We are sure it is the best thing for our family and business and look forward to our future en France, where we will reopen Steve Barber Models.

An important message for our European Customers:
We would advise all EU customers placing orders to expect:
- VAT and handling fee will be charged and collected by your postal service.
- Do not ask Steve Barber Models to undervalue packages on customs declarations, nor to mark them as gifts.
- Do not expect VAT to be deducted when you place an order with Steve Barber Models as we do not need to be not VAT registered in the UK and therefore VAT is not paid at the point of sale by any customer! But VAT may still be levied in your country.
