Over recent years our commission a miniature service has enabled a number of projects to become a reality, from 28mm Greek War of Independence to numerous 40mm Samurai to 28mm Thirty Years War and Napoleonics!
We are happy to sculpt the miniatures you have always wanted to see in the style, pose and scale you want it, using this service. Complete design control can be yours. Steve can sculpt in 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 28mm and 40mm scales. We can handle single commissions and larger projects too!
The essence of this service is that we share the costs. You can choose the subject, the pose and details, and then Steve can sculpt it. Your name goes besides the miniature on all our integrated advertising. Making this an ideal gift. You also receive Commission a Miniature discount card, which offers discount on any of the miniatures on our website. This is a loyalty card, and the more that is spent on commissions, the greater the discount. We also undertake all the mould making and production costs in exchange for keeping full production and artistic rights to the miniature.

I've known Steve Barber for a number of years in which Steve has sculpted a number of miniatures for me over this time period and continues to do so. Communications with the commissioner and attention to detail on the miniatures has been first class. Steve follows the brief well and is open to constructive criticism to the miniatures being sculpted. This includes recommendations as to the nunance of the pose in order to improving the quality of the casting at the end of the process.

"Having spent years gaming the more diverse and esoteric historical periods, and becoming more frustrated by the lack of suitable figures , I started to explore the prospect of commissioning suitable figures myself, a gaming friend told me of Steve Barber who had previously been designing his own ranges. I started initially with some Greek War of Independence figures, all Steve asked for was for a detailed brief along with a suggested figure pose, the finished sculpt exceeded my wishes, throughout the process Steve consulted me over any queries he had as to design/uniform. From that first sculpt I have gone on to commission loads of differing figures throughout the historical context, Steve not only will sculpt to his own parameters but will also sculpt figures to match in height wise to other manufacturers figures, enabling you the gamer to have a unique creation."
